Q: Why should I sign up for a service plan?

top
A: When you have to pay for service as you go, you never know when a big, expensive bill will come. Customers who need only a tune-up one year may face three or four service calls the next. Our service plans eliminate these ups and downs and allow you to rest easy, knowing we’ll be there quickly whenever you have a problem.

Q: What about the cost?

top

A: Every system should be tuned up once a year. (It saves you up to 10% on your oil bills and prevents other problems from developing.) Our average tune-up cost is $165-$170, but it’s covered when you’re on either plan.

Now consider what happens if your system needs repairs. Including labor, a fuel pump can cost over $200. A zone valve can run twice that much. A new circulator will set you back over $330, and a triple aquastat can run as high as $370. If any of these are repaired after normal business hours, repair costs climb to a premium rate.

Our service plans cover all this and much more. For less than the price of one cup of coffee a day, you can eliminate worrying about virtually anything that can go wrong with your heating system.

Q: Which plan is better for me?

top

A: It depends on the level of protection you’re comfortable with. Our Comfort Plan includes a tune-up, 24-hour emergency service and many items that typically need repair. Our Ultimate Comfort Plan does all that and more. It covers just about anything that can go wrong with your heating system, including some very costly items. For instance, if you have more than one zone, they’re all covered. Both plans include our Loyalty credits.

bottom

Q: What are "Loyalty Credits"?

top

A: Each year you renew your service plan, you earn $50 toward the replacement of furnaces or boilers, burners, air conditioners, etc. You can accumulate up to $500 in credits for each heating and cooling plan that you purchase. It’s our way of rewarding you for your loyalty. See the plan for details. Don’t hesitate to call us if you have any questions.

bottom

Q: Is all the service done by your own people?

top
A: Yes. We maintain a full-time staff of highly trained technicians who continually attend courses to stay up-to-date with the latest technology.
bottom

Q: Will I be charged for repairs to parts not covered by the service plan?

top
A: Yes (although there is very little our Ultimate Comfort Plan doesn’t cover).
bottom

Q: There are parts on these plans that my system doesn’t have. Am I paying extra for them?

top
A: No. You’re paying only for the parts you have. For example, a furnace system has a blower that sends hot air through the vents, while a boiler has a circulator that sends hot water through pipes. The price of the plan takes this into account.
bottom

Q: Can I make my plan payments in installments?

top
A: Yes. You can pay for your service plan on our 10-month budget plan in conjunction with your fuel budget. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
bottom
